One week in India trying to sell Naval Architecture software while discovering the beautiful culture.

I wanted to go to India and thought that I could sell software there. I tried to explain this to my boss, but he was not completely convinced. He finally agreed to let me go because "sometimes a young employee needs to go somewhere.."
The arrival in Mumbay after flying through smogg for 1/2 hour and landing 500 m away from the slumps and pollution was a bit of a shock and made me think again about me selling Naval Architecture software in this country :)
My meetings for work went very well and I ended up selling more than $10k worth of software to a company.
I had one day off and spent that in Cochin's backwater region on a boat falling in love with the local people, mainly fishermen or rice farmers.. very poor, but they looked so happy!
