Our trip to Asheville, NC is for a family wedding. We had an unusual start to our trip as Dad was rushed to the hospital after he was released from Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He had an episode at home was admitted on Wednesday night. Early Thursday morning he was dismissed and sent home. His sister (our Aunt Sis) helped with the welcoming home party as she brought a homemade peach pie and their Aunt Idola. So we pondered what should we do go to Asheville or stay at home. We decided after much thought, that we would head to Asheville. After all, Gary, Brian, Connie and Karen were on standby and given the response on the Wednesday ambulance run, we thought everything would be alright. So we are on our way. Hope you enjoy our trip.
