I studied Spanish in Buenos Aires, the "Paris" of South America. The city is aptly named because of the beautiful European architecture downtown as well as the host of passerbys with Italian and German descent. Overall, you will get the feeling that you are in Europe instead of South America! There are schools all over the city that cater to the short term traveling seeker of knowledge. I studied at a school on Reconquista street that provided both private and group classes.
