Part 3: First Trip Up and Down the West Coast in the Green Van
About this blog
I'm looking forward to this next leg of my crosscountry trips. I grew up at the beach and the ocean was always there, you could see it down the street and when it was stormy you could hear it. The ocean defined as far as you could go east and the whole continent was west of me. Nearly every day you would get down to the boardwalk and see the everchanging ocean. As great as it was to see the the really different sights on the cross country trip I was really interested in seeing as much of the west coast as I could. From pictures I knew it was really different than our flat sandy beaches. As usual money was a limiting factor on my trip but I intended to go as far as I could but still have enough gas money to get back to Claremont.
