Part 2: First Midwest to West Coast Trip in the Green Van

This trip is the next portion of my trips in the green van that eventually covered all 48 continental states of the US. It was a combined trip, the first part going to Arlington to pick up my sister and a u-haul van and transport her out to Austin, Texas and then take the u-haul to Roswell, New Mexico to drop it off there at a much reduced rate from the Austin area. Then I was on my own to explore the midwest and finally arriving out in Claremont, California for an extended layover and long to short excursions from there until I was able to head back east. It was harder to avoid interstates on this trip or follow my guideline of no faster than 40 miles per hour, but I did avoid fast food joints.
