About this blog

14 members of the South West Montana snow tribe made their way to the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho this April. Our base camp at Williams Lake Yurt provided easy access to numerous couloirs along the Thompson and Williams peak ridgelines. We were treated with a mixture of powder and corn and a plethora of lines to choose from. Our group broke up into pods and began to take care of the North Wall Couloirs of Thompson Peak. Taking full advantage of springtime, our final descents of the day were close to 8pm. Our evenings were spent relishing the days events, swilling pisco and whiskey, and cooking delicious meals in the yurt. A big thanks to Sawtooth Mountain Guides, Sarah and Chris, and mis amigos for making my 35th a wonderful experience
