About this blog

Visiting the United States during the Bicentennial celebrations of the independence and attending the Games of the XXI Olympiad (the Montreal Olympics) was one of my best-designed and superbly executed dream-trips. This was composed for two families. We were like one big human body: Gavrilo, Lence, Tanja and Pepi Gavrilski, Marija, Igor and Daddy (that's me) Popov. Days and nights of planning and fixing every single item months ahead help building mutual affinities. The abundance and variety of choices was bigger problem than anything. The more one knows the more one suffers: what to drop? We flew in Chicago from Shanon, made a big circle to Washington D.C., then up north into Canada, Montreal back to Chicago for home. It was majestic.
