I had a weeks work to attend to in Melbourne, so we tacked on a week at the end, to drive the 2,700 km from Melbourne to Port Fairy via the Great Ocean Road, then north to Mildura, The Grampians, and Broken Hill, then east for the 1,200 km run to Sydney via Wilcannia, Cobar, Dubbo and The Blue Mountains.
