This is actually my journal, that I made when I got back from the trip. My bag got stolen along the way so all the notes I had made were lost...

Initially it was intended only for close friends and family to see, but I have uploaded it here unadulterated.

It should be taken into account that the opinions are my own, or rather they were my own about three and a half years ago. Times change.

And as for all the bits where I'm being offensive/ignorant/selfish/fraudulent/dishonest, well, they're all made up for artistic license.

For the record, I love German people. I also respect the Interail Train Travel service and am in favour of honest use.

And also for the record, I also love Sean Connery. I was just really, really cold.
