About this blog

I invite you to become my therapist as I take my leave from the rat race to embark on a 3,000-mile odyssey through the American West. Starting from Calgary, Alberta, I'll cross the mountainous states of Montana and Idaho to reach the Pacific in Oregon. I'll become a West Coast hippie en route to San Francisco and then I'll completely change my plans, drive to El Paso and travel through Mexico by bike and bus, finishing up in the southern state of Oaxaca where I remain in peace mode and desist from confronting the fascist authorities.

In my blog I'll be sharing my impressions on everything from: bears to bandits; firearms to freaks; Jesus to jungles; pyramids to pimps; rednecks to rattlesnakes; terrorism to tumbleweeds; and plenty more
