Having taken long service leave from work, and convincing Ben that being unemployed for a while was not such a bad thing, we were ready for our travel extravaganza. Our adventures start in Paris, where we are staying in an apartment on Ile de la Cite for the month of July - tres fantastique!! Following our cultural and epicurean stay in Paris, we have a wonderful itinerary over the next 4 months taking us to Scandanavia, short stays in Eastern Europe, Egypt and the middle east, southern Spain and Morocco, the Himalayas (after a brief foray in India to visit the Taj Mahal) and finally China. 8 months in the making, with French classes at Alliance Francaise, and movies and books from our destinations, we are ready to enjoy.
