About this blog

How many people by 21yrs can say they've set off alone to the Australian Outback (a 32hr drive from home in tropical Cairns) to shack up with an everchanging bunch of 23-55yr old New South Welshmen, been paid to fly with the Royal Flying Doctor's around the bush, and worked in the areas of kids, hands, outreach, aboriginal health, psychiatry, criminal, remote care, medico-legal, acute, hospital, community and elderly? Trust me, they didn't need to pay me a cent!

During my 18 months in Broken Hill, NSW, I lived with some of the finest people in Australia, had more adventures than you could poke a stick at, and still remained faithfully loyal to the Qld Cane Toads! There should be no surprise that I have a story or two to share...
