Welcome to AD and Esther's weblog of our round-the-world trip 2006-2007.

This trip was made possible by the fact that Esther lost her sister Miriam in the 7/7 London Bombings. At the time of writing around £50,000 has been raised to support the Miriam Hyman Memorial Fund which was set up in the months following the bombings and is being used to fund an annual fellowship through the charity ORBIS UK whose aim is to eliminate avoidable blindness globally.

In order to raise money for the MHMF while they are away, AD and Esther plan to undertake certain activities in the name of the Fund, eg do the PADI Open Water Diving Certificate. Keep an eye on this weblog and sponsor us online at www.miriam-hyman.com.
