About this blog

Part of the essence of this trip for me is to explore other people's ideas and solutions for using wood for good and gaia (I know corny already - it will get worse!).

I'm interested in all the stages of the process; planting, growing, harvesting, shaping and utilisation. I'm hoping to capture some real insight into the ways that other people see and work with this incredible resource.

If a small selection of what I find can escort me back to the UK I'll be a happy lady. I want to use the content of this blog to reflect on my findings and pull the threads together into a working model for getting on with business when I get back.
