One month in the South Island of New Zealand - including walking the Milford Track

Dianne spent over 3 months hitch-hiking all over New Zealand in 1971, a few months after meeting Murray. We both spent a week in the North Island, with our kids who were 6 and 8, at the end of a 3-month around-world trip with them in 1987. Since then we've been to all sorts of out-of-the-way places all over the world, so thought it was about time we visited/revisited New Zealand which is our closest neighbour.
