We don't usually keep a diary of our Australian travel but we're going to outback Queensland, which should be interesting.

We usually head overseas for winter, but since we were in West Africa in January and February, we've decided to take a fairly easy trip to Queensland this time. We will be travelling with relatives who travel very differently to us (in a large 4WD with LARGE caravan with toilet, shower, aircon and TV). We'll be in our Subaru Forester, with our camping gear, including tent, in a "pod" on the top of the car, and will also be using backpackers, motels, on-site vans, and ....... Will definitely be a different experience.
