Ensenada, Mexico! - Keli & Dave - Nov 2007 -- So great to live within driving distance of Mexico! We drove down to Ensenada, 1 hour so. of San Diego. Surfing, horseback riding, xmas shopping!
About this blog
We found a great shopping district in Ensenada lined with art houses selling the most beautiful art from all over Mexico! Our favorite was Casa Ramirez where we worked with Hilda who explained everything about where each piece came from and why each one was special. We had so much fun picking out gifts for our friends and family back home! We also took a great horseback ride in the hills above Ensenada with fantastic views of the ocean. It was a very DUSTY ride! And of course we had to go surfing! La Fonda is a great surf break with just the right waves. Dave has now surfed in two countries! (US and Mexico!)
