2009 is a big year for Dave and I, we are getting married in October, but first we are setting out on an 11 week adventure. We begin with friends in Namibia and will be exploring wildlife reserves and national parks for 2 weeks before touring around Cape Town, South Africa for 5 days. Next we fly to Cairo, Egypt where Dave will be my tourguide for 2 weeks since he is old hat with the Baksheesh. A ferry ride takes us to Jordan, where we plan to see Petra and spend a night under the stars, Bedouin style, as we travel north to Amman. Our final 4 weeks are spent in Turkey. We start and end in Istanbul and in between we will travel along the Aegean and Mediterranean seas and to the fairy chimneys of Cappadocia. Cheers!
