Three years ago I was serving Jeanneret wines at Rain in Toronto, and hoping one day to work at the winery. This year, for the 2006 Vintages harvest, my friend and wine agent par excellence, Howard, hooked it up, and here I am. Ready to be up at dawn, done at dusk, covered in grape skins, calluses, and smiling most of the way through.
