Our first retirement road trip.

Finally, after something like 57 days and 6600 miles we are beginning the trip we thought we were planning for this first year in retirement:

US Route 2 across America from Washington to Maine. Of course the original plan was from Maine to Washington but that is just a detail.

We're stopping for fun times camping, hiking, folk dancing, Fringe fests, art & science museums, and whatever strikes our fancy.
