After the first time we walked down the dirt road from Psar Tuol Tom Pong to David's place and up three flights of narrow stairs and into the room where a St. Marks flag was the main decoration ... no question that we would return to Phnom Penh to be with him. The plan: three days in HK, 8 hours in BK, 10 days in Burma - "By the old Moulmein Pagoda, lookin' eastward to the sea ..." - a few more days in BK, a month in Phnom Penh with David at the Sihanouk Hospital of Hope, 10 days to go wherever, 1-2 days BK, 2 days HK and on back to LAX.
