About this blog

This is the story of Brent and Tobys Great American Road Trip. After numerous years of working across the world and many international adventures, we decided it was finally time to take some time (and we mean some time) off and travel across America...all of it!

Toby (being British) has always dreamed of taking an epic American cross-country journey, and so with little more than that dream, we both quit our jobs in Abu Dhabi and arrived in the U.S. on May 1st, 2008 to start preparations for a HUGE trip.

Our plan is to hit every major attraction across the various continental 48 states, and we plan on keeping this site updated with our map, pictures and thoughts along the way. Hope you can keep up!
