Laos PDR (People Don't Rush!)

After becoming accustomed to travelling solo in Thailand I wanted to spend a few weeks in Laos before moving on to Vietnam. Laos is much poorer than the other countries and so the experience is more of an eye opener for me, and for the Lao people too - they are still not used to falang in some areas and attention tends to follow me around here! But the people are very nice and very naughty and their laid back style gives the country a wonderful demeanour, which means after the intial shock you don't ever want to leave.
