GS Camp -O-Ree at Hershey.

When we first received the email from Abi's GS leader, we were not sure whether we will go to the Camporee or not. It is in Hershey Park. We're going to Disney World in August. It is a better theme park (so we thought). Just in case, I requested to be off that Friday. The activity will start at 7:30 on Friday night and Hershey Park is about 3 hours and a half from we're we live. Lo and behold, I did not get my requested day off which was no biggie because we still haven't decided whether to go or not. As the date got closer, here comes Miss Abi telling us she wanted to go to the Camporee. Lucky me I was able to switched so I got Friday off. Most of the family in Abi's troop will be staying in a hotel. I thought maybe, there's no more space in the campground. So we booked in Fairfield Inn. Since we will be paying a hotel it might as well be a Marriott so that we get Marriott's Rewards Points. Then I started reading tripadvisor and I found out that Fairfield Inn is farther and there is no other way out if you're stuck in traffic. So we cancelled and found a room in SpringHill Suites which is better for us because they have a bigger room. Although the room in Fairfield Inn is big and can accommodate 5 people the room in SpringHill Suites is much bigger.
