Rocky Point, New York: Restoring My Love For My Family's Vacation Home

Rocky Point is the location of my dad's side of the family's vacation home. Bought in the 40's, not only did my brother, cousins and I grow up visiting the house, but my dad, aunt, uncle, and even Grandma grew up spending summers in the home.
My mom, dad, brother and I visited all the time when Mike and I were younger, but we had stopped going in 1995. After years of not visiting, I finally decided to go back for a few days in June of 2001, only three days after I graduated from junior high school.
The few days I spent out on Long Island with my cousins were a lot of fun, and really restored my love for Rocky Point. I've begun taking regular trips to the house with my cousins ever since!
