Rocky Point, New York: A Snowy Weekend on Long Island

My family's vacation home in Rocky Point, New York is located on the North Shore of Long Island. We usually only go during the summer, but lately I have been taking short weekend trips with my cousins year-round. It's nice to get away for a few days, especially when the place in which you're staying is your family's on home.
This was a short weekend that my brother, cousins and I spent in Rocky Point. My Grandparents, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Ted went as well, and we all had a great time. There's no air-conditioning at the Rocky Point house, so we all wind up sweating and complainging on our summer trips. This was the first time that we were in Rocky Point during the winter months, and it wound up snowing. I'd never been there when it snowed!
