Through an international internship program I am off to Gujarat, India to soak up the universe from a new and challenging perspective. I will be working at the grassroots level with the Water and Sanitation Management Organization (WASMO), whose mission is to secure safe drinking water and improve habitats in rural communities. I will be living in Ahmedabad and working in Gandhinagar but hope to travel and experience as much of India as my time will allow.

I set out on this journey with big intentions. I am wondering about my role in life, I am yearning to find my niche, I am dreaming about making a positive impact. Can this one job, this one country, this one summer help me understand my path?
