This summer I will be studying at Beijing Normal University through EAP, the UC system's study abroad program. I am going to study "Language and Culture," so basically I will be taking intensive Chinese language courses immersed in the city of Beijing. I'll even be taking a cooking class and trying out marital arts!!

I leave tomorrow, Wednesday, June 24th at 11:30 pm from LAX. I will be back in the states on Sunday, August 16th. Unfortunately, international phone calls are ridiculously expensive. Fortunately, the wonderful world wide web is free! So what I've set up here is a travel blog I hope to keep those of you interested up to date on what I'm doing. I can't promise to post things all the time- after all- the point is for me to experience China, right? But I will post pictures and recaps as often as possible! I will also still be on facebook and answer any e-mails! I'd love to hear from you about how things are going back home or wherever you are adventuring this summer!
