Elon University has a "mini-semester" for the month of January. During these 3 weeks, a lot of students study abroad. China is one of Elon's most popular trips. After taking a Chinese History class my freshman year, I decided to apply for this specific winter term study abroad program. We will be traveling for three weeks, hitting the popular sites in the major cities, and traveling off the major roads for a more comprehensive understanding of China. Dr. Crowe, an esteemed member of Elon's faculty, and my academic advisor is one of the trip leaders and I am looking forward to spending a lot of time learning from him. I have a couple of really good friends on the trip as well. I am sure there will be many memories from the 3 weeks in China!!
