at the quarter-century juncture of my existence on earth, i realized how limited my exposure to this world actually was. as the momentum of time and expansion of my horizons seemed more and more to demonstrate an inverse relationship, i realized the only thing i knew i absolutely wanted to do before my time here got any shorter, was to experience as much of our good earth as possible. so i've quit the only "real" job i've never had, bid my loved ones adieu, and traversed back to the land of my ancestors to ride this quarter century crisis out in style.
