Norway and the High Arctic

I am going on a trip with Michigan State University's Study Abroad program to Norway and the high Arctic. We will be visiting Oslo and Tromso on the mainland. After a few days of attending some talks on the Arctic, visiting universities, and seeing museums we will head up to Svalbard and explore Longyearbyen. There we will tour the World Seed Bank and get a chance to do some local activities. Then we will board an ice breaker and take a 10 day cruise around the islands. We will have opportunity to view wildlife, glaciers and icebergs, and study the impact of humans on the Arctic environment.
