Italy January 2009, Florence and Tuscany

Hi everyone,

Yet another Italian journey ! Laura and I are flying to Rome, train to Florence and staying in Florence 3 nights. Then we rent a car, drive to the Chianti Region of Tuscany, which is 30 minutes south of Florence staying in Greve, and visiting, Panzano, Castellina, and Radda. We are staying with our friend Luca and his girlfriend Mary in their home at Figline Valdarno and she will cook a Sicilian meal for us: we will stay there overnight. Then we drive to Cinque Terre for 2 nights staying in La Spezia. After that to Lidia's house in Chiesina Uzzanase for a party and 2 night stay with her. With Lidia we hope to visit Empoli, Pistoia, and San Miniato. Drop off car in Orvieto and train back to Rome for a day.
