About this blog
The summer of 2008 brought me to South Africa and this is the blog of my travels. A friend of mine was going to Africa for 3 months to do some traveling and volunteer work so I decided to join her for the first 2 weeks. Although 2 weeks was not enough to fully explore the country, I managed to visit Johannesburg, Durban, Drakensberg Mountains, Cape Town and the surrounding areas; all of which proved to be a fantastic, although somewhat unexpected, experience. I hope you enjoy.
