This was my very first big trip out of Canada for me (unless you count the day trip to Minot when I was about 5 or the week trip to South Dakota when I was about 8). My father and stepmother gave this trip on Christmas day of 1997 to myself and 4 sister's.

It was the beginning of many other surprise vacations and planned vacations taken in the years to follow.....
