"Why Turkey?" is the question I hear most. I've come up with a wide variety of plausible answers and they are all, in part, true. The complete answer to the question, however, we will probably only discover over the course of the trip itself. One thing is certain: this summer-long odyssey will be pretty unforgettable. My personal goal is to have each of the "beans" write a little every day about what they saw, heard, did, ate, thought, learned...whatever. I want to do some writing too and suplement with pictures and some video. Our plan of action has us visiting New York, Munich, Ankara, Cappadocia, Istanbul, Bodrum, Gundogan and back home. Nine weeks with 3 children--what will happen? Better than reality TV!
