Huh? I really don’t understand this.
I’ve had more visitors than ever this week, tons of comments, still a Google page 5 ( higher than many listed above us) ,always falling small Alexa rating….and I dropped 30 places this week! HUH?
I’ve seen similar things with others. WHY?
I can’t say I understand the logic of this. I’m with you Nathan….how exact, indeed!

I thought this article about Alexa, Compete etc was interesting. What do you think? Do these stats really mean anything? Why are there such crazy weekly swings? How much can be gamed? Does Alexa, Compete or even Google Page rank mean anything?

One of MANY articles on why these measurements mean nothing and can be gamed. I have to agree with this:
“A well rounded approach to judging a site’s worth will give you a much more open idea of value than one set of numbers.”
