More than ten years ago, he set out on a three month backpacking trip that still hasn’t ended, due to an intense travel addiction.
Earl Baron now writes WanderingEarl.com in hopes that he might inspire other people to follow in his footsteps, and have their own crazy travel goals.

“I hope to prove that such a decision is not irresponsible, selfish or a waste of time, but instead, essential in order to avoid a life full of regrets,” he says.
WanderingEarl.com is also a blog about using open-minded global exploration to improving the lives of others in the world community.
“In short, we must not travel as travelers, but as global citizens and that is the message my blog aims to share,” Earl continues.
He does this by making deep and lasting connections with the people he meets on the road.
