He picked up the bug when he was sent to Kosovo for work.
It was his first venture outside of Australia and New Zealand, and this created his habit of visiting places that most package tourists avoid like the plague.
He has since traveled to almost 40 countries over six continents.
Anthony also enjoys risking his life by employing barely road-worthy forms of transport such as African mini-buses, suicidal Cairo cabs, and flatulent camels.
His foray into the travel writing world happened by accident, his friends thought it was a good idea to convert his humorous travel emails into something more substantial, like articles and a website.
