“I decided to create this blog for a few reasons,” Jay says, “the most obvious was to provide friends and family with a way to view pictures and video from my vacations.”
As he began to put together some of the footage, he realized there was an opportunity to help others break out and travel the world on their own.
The famous Mark Twain quote “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness”, has become Jay’s new motto.
He’s dedicated to helping others avoid the mistakes he’s made, thereby increasing the likelihood of an enjoyable trip.
“If I can also encourage others to expand their horizons and remove the fear many have with traveling, then all the better.”
In addition to his own travel stories, Jay’s blog also includes a Traveler Spotlight series in which he interviews real people about their favourite trips.
