Melanie Mize Renzulli, a true Italofile

Melanie Mize Renzulli was probably one of the first travel bloggers writing about Italy on the web.

She’s been writing her travel blog Italofile: The Italy Travel Resource since 2006.

“Italofile is an independent blog aimed at a cultured audience looking for useful and unique Italy information,” Melanie says.

And I believe that it is true.

One of the best aspects of this site is Melanie’s five favourites lists.

She expounds upon her favourite Italian words, her favourite beaches in Calabria and more.

There’s so much to learn about Italy and Melanie has helpfully ordered a lot of the good stuff right there on her blog.

Anyone planning a trip to the boot should spare a few moments and take notice.

Wow what an honor! I really appreciate the recognition.
I should point out that Five Favorites (or ‘favourites’ if you speak the Queen’s English!) is a new feature on which I have invited other Italy bloggers to write about their faves in the area of their expertise. So if you are an Italy blogger and would like to do a guest post, let me know!
