Lots of people hitchhike in cars, but not many people can say that they have hitchhiked on a sailboat.
That’s only one of the ways that Aly Kilday and John H. Clark IV got about during their eight month sojourn across the southern Caribbean and Colombia.

Their blog is called Hop and Jaunt and they are experts on traveling as a couple.
One of the best features on their blog is a mountain of tips for getting along while on the road.
There’s also a nice mental exploration about getting your life back together once you’re back home.
