You can find Richard Tulloch’s writings all over Australia.
He’s written episodes of Bananas in Pyjamas and he continues to write children’s books published by Random House.
He also publishes his personal travel writing all over the country.
However, he says that the web is the best place to publish all that interesting stuff that doesn’t make it past the editor’s chopping block.
“I’m finding blogging an interesting outlet for pieces that don’t always suit the commercial press’ requirements,” Richard says.
“I still try to keep the writing on my blog literate and readable, rather than going too casual.”
He keeps a list of interesting destinations for cycling trips and walking journeys.
Richard specializes in active travel, hiking, cycling, water adventures, as well as travel stories based on history, culture and art, but you won’t find any sky diving or cliff jumping here.
“Extreme adventures are off my radar – I’m too far over 50 now and am too aware of my mortality!”
