One of the first personal travel blogs I stumbled upon when I first got into this crazy business, was Brooke Schoenman’s Brooke vs. the World.
She always manages to accidentally find some of the coolest things to do wherever she is.
“My travel blog started with the planning and saving phase and continues through years of travel and work abroad experience,” Brooke says.
She left America in late 2007 and has been traveling the world since.
“I have spent time in countries most people don’t visit, such as Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, others that many do, such as Spain and Australia.”
Brooke has worked as an archaeologist in Spain, studied Spanish in Guatemala, studied Russian in Kyrgyzstan, taught English in Ukraine and she’s currently working as a copy writer in Australia.
Follow along with her as she traipses around Australia, one of the few places she hasn’t been to yet.
