Joy-Anne Goodenough considers herself a lucky woman: she lives in one of the most beautiful cities in the world – Cape Town; she gets to swim in the ocean daily before work; and she gets paid to blog.
Joy-Anne works for Portfolio Collection, as the editor of their Portfolio Travel Blog.

Joy writes about True Travellers’ Tales submitted by readers, South African photography, art and culture, food and wine, literature, sport, entertainment and events, along with general advice for those traveling through this vast and beautiful country at the foot of Africa.
One thing you’ll find on her blog is “10 Questions for South Africans“, there’s all kinds of interviews with the most influential South Africans
Artists, conservationists, musicians and a bee keeper are among those who have been featured lately.
If you’re headed to Capetown, make sure you peruse her list of things to do the South African city.
Joy-Anne is a freelance photographer and of course, she is also very excited for 2010 when the FIFA World Cup will be held in South Africa. You can find all kinds of informative posts about the event at her blog if you are planning on going.

I am a regular reader of this travel blog – it’s fun and informative (‘specially because I’m also from CT) – a great read on my rss feed.

Getting to swim before work is pretty cool; I could do it too, I suppose, though I’d have to get up very early.
