Was I feeling better? No, not really.  I still felt like i had a fever but regardless, a handful of benylin and a carmel maciatto got me out the door on monday morning.  I headed south from the hostel to see the new football stadium for next year's Euro Cup . From there i found myself wandering down the streets gazing at the arcitechture and finishing some last minute soveneer shopping.I worked my way to the Motherland monument and park and took some time to enjoy the site and sounds. There were only maybe a handful of other tourist there, mostly from east asia, and we were able to accomidate each other with picture taking.
After a coke and pastry i headed to the tomb of the unknown soldier and walked through the park, past the government buildings and Ukraine House to arrive back at independance square.  Due to aching feet, i took my time, stopping for coffee and rest every couple blocks.
After some more rest at the hostel i headed out at night for a walk around some of the monuments at night.  Along the way i ran into a few i had met on the Chernobyl tour, and walked some blocks with them, chatting about our next destinations.
With the night almost ended, i stopped in for one more beer before finishing the night with Mykola and some drinks at the hostel.
