Today I climbed Table Mountain!!! It was my second attempt on this trip (we had to turn back about 3/4 of the way up when Andrew was here in December because it was very windy and there were tons of clouds at the top and the cable car was not operating) and my second time ever to make it all the way to the top (I climbed it the first time when I was only 8). But today was a perfect day - sunny and just a little wind. We climbed up Platteklip Gorge, which has like a million steps up. I saw some igamas and drank a ton of water. It was a hot climb and I was very happy when we reached the top. I wish I could live at the top of Table Mountain. It is very beautiful and quiet and you can see everything in Cape Town. I really like being up there.
We took the cable car back down and went to meet our friends for lunch at a place called the Roundhouse in Camps Bay, which used to be an old hunting lodge when there were still animals roaming around in Camps Bay
We have done a lot while we have been in Cape Town. We have been to some different playgrounds, to the beach lots, and have seen more friends. We also saw Big Julia's mom, Rhoda, at her house and Julia asked Lu and me to be in her wedding in 2010. I get to be the ring bearer and Lu will be a flower girl. I can't believe Julia is getting married - I have known her for a long time. Her mom gave Lu and me some of Julia's old books to read, which was really nice. Julia is graduating from Harvard this year.
Last night we had dinner last night with our friends Sven and Christelle and their daughters, Kara and Micah. They are 13 and 10 years old and very nice. Their dad, Sven, was Father Christmas last year - he is very funny and he is a glider pilot.
We are all sad to be leaving Cape Town but I am excited about Australia. One more day here then we are on the road again!

I could live up here...!
. My friend Alec, his brother Luca, Lu and Sienna all ran around in the grass and played hide and seek and tag. The lodge is on the side of Lions Head so it feels like you are in a forest and is a great place. After lunch, Alec came back to my house and we went boogie boarding - the water was very cold in Llandudno but it was so much fun!!! He even got to stay for dinner. Dad and i have been boogie boarding a lot - we went the first day back in Llandudno and I almost got washed under - the waves were sooooo big! I love to go with my dad and I am very glad I have a wet suit. We have also been surfing with T.K. and will go one more time tomorrow. We have done a lot while we have been in Cape Town.
