So, Aqualand rocked!!! They have tons of water slides - my favorite was the Kamikaze, where you go straight down over bumps and Dad and I could race. It was sick. I crushed Dad! And the Tornado was also cool - you went about 40 miles an hour and then shot into a funnel and into the water. I loved it!

This morning we took a ferry from Palma, Majorca to Barcelona, Spain. The ride started before sunrise, and took about four hours on the fast boat (the slow boat takes nine hours). It was really cool. I did schoolwork on the ferry which I liked - we did BrainQuest, which I like. When we came into the harbor, we could see a giant statue of Christopher Columbus, who I am also studying. We are learning about great explorers and he is one of them in the book. He landed in Barcelona after his trip to the Americas, where he met Queen Isabel and King Ferdinand. But he was not the first to find America - Vikings were.

Barcelona is much more crowded than Madrid or Majorca, but has lots of cool streets and alleys and street performers. I saw a guy bounce a soccer ball like a hundred times without dropping it. And we went swimming on the roof of our hotel - you can see out over the whole city. Dad and I did schoolwork in front of a cool cathedral across from the hotel this afternoon. I like it here.
