ROCKY MOUNTAINS
Today we got to take a paddle boat out in the harbor. The paddle boat is bigger than the one I used before and it has a slide on it to slide into the ocean. We paddled out in the harbor and around to a cove where Dad and I snorkeled and I saw a jellyfish. We all slid off the slide, even Mom. It was cool.
This afternoon, we drove up the coast into the mountains. The only way into Port de Soller is a tunnel through the mountains, (except for by boat), and the mountains around it are huge and very rocky. We drove through lots of tunnels that looked like someone had blown them up with dynamite. There were sheep and goats with bells all over the road. The sheep kept crossing the road - not very safe!
Then we drove down a super steep, winding road with 34 switchbacks to an amazing beach called Torrent de Pareis
Tomorrow is our last day here, then we drive to the town where the ferry will take us to Barcelona. But first, we are going to Aqualand, the biggest water park on the whole island! It has cool water slides and rides. I can't wait!

We loved this cool beach in Majorca
. A switchback is somewhere when the road switches back and goes the opposite way but you are still going the same direction. We had to walk down a hill and through two small long tunnels carved in the rock. Basically, it is a huge gorge like the Grand Canyon but it ends at a beach in the ocean. The beach was made of smooth rocks, which were fun to try to juggle and toss and skip in the ocean. Then we had dinner at a place with amazing pasta and I fell asleep at the table.Tomorrow is our last day here, then we drive to the town where the ferry will take us to Barcelona.
