Today I went lobstering with my cousin Andrew in Uncle Dave's boat. We went out to find the buoy and pulled the first trap. Inside we found lot of fungus, a couple of crabs and nothing else. Uncle Dave has five lobster traps. He baits them with dead herring, which is really nasty. So went to the next trap and found four crabs wrestling and one small lobster. We had to throw him back because he was too small. Next we went to the third trap and found one keeper lobster, a crab that would not come off the trap but we got him off. At the fourth trap, we found two big lobsters. And at the fifth trap we found one lobster. Andrew got to drive the boat and I pulled up the traps with my dad. I also got to drive some. Being out on the boat was fun. We drove the boat to Portland for lunch and saw a huge cruise ship. I wonder where it is going.

This afternoon we hiked Bradbury Mountain then went to get frozen custard. Tonight we are eating lobster for dinner - I hope I get a claw!
