Yesterday my parents, sister, and I went to New York City, mainly to sell my mom's car to our friends, Patty and David and their kids, Lily and Mara. I went to preschool with Lily and we have known them a long time. It was weird to see them drive my mom's car away but means we are even closer to leaving the country. After going to a concert in Riverside Park, we spent the night at their apartment and I got to play Wii with Lily, which was lots of fun. I also got to walk their new puppy, Gus. It is strange, but every day for the last three years, Lily and her dad have looked in the paper to see what the weather is in Tunis, Tunisia. Lily is smart and does funny things like this. She knows most of the state and country capitals. I hope she can meet us somewhere this year, maybe even in Tunis?
We also went to a BBQ at the house of some other friends from preschool, Lucas and Julia, and their fathers. Martin, their dad, is from Argentina, so we had lots of meat
Today, we met our old neighbors, the Bravsteins, at a park in New Jersey. Jack was one of my good friends in New Jersey so I interviewed him. His little sister, Clara, was my sister's best friend and they were very glad to see each other. But my sister kept asking to go our old house - she doesn't realize that we sold it yet. I felt kind of sad for her. You can read my interview with Jack below this message.
Tonight, we went back up to our Catskill house and hung out at our pond. There is nothing but a field and the pond, but it has great views of the mountains and we have a canoe that is fun to paddle around in. A couple of more days here, then it is time for our shots, and then off to New Hampshire and Maine for a few more goodbye visits. Weird.

Eleven Days to go before the Baird World Tour...
. Martin gave my sister a big map of the world with animals, and place names, and things to attach to it. She loves it, but I think it is too big to take with us!Today, we met our old neighbors, the Bravsteins, at a park in New Jersey. Jack was one of my good friends in New Jersey so I interviewed him.
